This article studies the structure and contents of mystical stories, and presents role models on the themes of these tales, revolving round the characteristic of Sultan Mahmoud Ghaznavi. In this analysis, two role models have been extracted to study the characteristic of Mahmoud Ghaznavi. Terms of collection of data in this article is based on study of mystical articles and extraction of tales and anecdotes in which Mahmoud Ghaznavi and at times Ayaz were present. Thereafter, the tales were analyzed and role models were introduced. Attainment of these role models is of paramount importance in understanding stories and their commonalties, and the rate of repetition of each theme. In this writing, nearly 70 anecdotes and tales (In prose and verse) were studied up to the 7th Century and it was finally found that the inclination of authors is to study the romantic aspects of the characteristic of Mahmoud and Ayaz, more than other themes.
